Before I tell you where, let me first explain why! For those of you that don’t know, my boyfriend is a senior at the United States Military academy. We have been together for over a year now! He will be graduating next month and will be commissioning as an officer in the Army! Before meeting Freddie, I had no idea what West Point was like. This past year I had the opportunity to see how much hard work the cadets put into academics and training. Saying I’m proud of him for graduating is an understatement.
After Freddie graduates, he is heading to Fort Benning for the Armor Basic Officer Leadership Course.
So, we will be moving to…. GEORGIA!
At first, I was super nervous about this because I have never been to Georgia. But now I am so ready to see Georgia and all it has to offer. Fort Benning is right outside of the cute little city of Columbus, which I am so excited to explore. After Freddie completes his training we will be moving to Fort Bliss in El Paso, Texas. Freddie has been telling me how bad he wanted this location as his post since the day we started talking, so I am so happy we get to experience the city of El Paso together.
Although I am excited for this move, I will miss my home here in New Jersey. I have lived in Bergen County for my entire life and I wouldn’t have had it any other way! Before I leave I will be posting about all my favorite places to eat and shop here in Bergen County, so stay tuned!
